Although the work was quite full-on it was a great place to see the workings of photo shoots and to learn about lighting and other equiptment first hand. It was also a great place to meet photographers some of whom I ended up working with after my time at the studio. These included Tom Sheehan, Hamish Brown, Mitch Ikeda, Ross Halfin and Scarlet Page.

Polaroids jam up and the chemicals don’t always spread over the whole image. Holgas let in light leaks. Throw these images away because of these glitches? No way! Celebrate them. Show them the light of day. Display them. This portfolio is a collection of images that may be less than perfect, but are full of real life, meaning, and emotion. Enjoy!
